The Harrisonburg New Horizons Band is looking for recruits. The James Madison University Lifelong Learning Institute program is for people for are interested in learning an instrument and playing in an ensemble. Membership is open to people of all experience levels, including people who have never played before. The group meets from 4-6 p.m. on Thursdays. Rehearsals consists of small group instruction to help players develop their skills and ensemble practice to learn band pieces.
