HARRISONBURG - The Rockingham County Board of Supervisors is hoping voters have changed their mind from a year ago on a proposed meals tax.
Board members have been urging county residents support a ballot referendum in Tuesday's election to allow the imposition of the tax, which would be earmarked for schools.
In 2008, a similar measure was defeated by about 2,000 votes, 16,585 to 14,555.
