Spotswood High School fans wave cutout heads of the Trailblazer’s team members to distract a Martinsville foul shooter in Saturday’s state quarterfinal at James Madison University’s Convocation Center. Spotswood defeated Martinsville 61-44 to advance to the semifinals in Richmond. The Spotswood and East Rock girls teams also advanced to the semifinals after victories on Saturday.
