Husband And Wife Celebrate Seven Decades Of Matrimony

Moe and Lora Dugard share a view of their Virginia Mennonite Retirement Center home Sept. 21. Immediately following the Dugard’s honeymoon, the couple was tested as World War II called Moe to duty: For more than a year, the newlyweds stayed in touch by writing letters and stealing time every six to seven weeks when Moe’s ship returned to port.
