Diane Z. Roll served up a new community offering June 14.

During the 4-hour Art in the Park event, hosted by the Arts Council of the Valley on second Saturdays throughout the summer, Roll’s food truck — Mama’s Caboose — became a mobile canvas for locals.

“This is just a cool idea,” said Roll, who plans to leave the brightly-splattered paint on her truck for the next couple of days. “I mean, when have you been allowed to paint somebody’s car?” For more information about Art in the Park, visit valleyarts.org/education.
