Through Aug. 30: The Art Group Gallery, Bowman Shannon Cultural Arts Center, 5998 Main St., Mount Jackson, will feature “The Character of the Shenandoah Valley, A Photographic Essay,” an exhibit of photography by Miriam A. Kilmer. Meet the artist from 4-6 p.m. Aug. 30.

Aug. 21: Small Hand-Plains District Emergency Infant Pantry, Rader Lutheran Church, Timberville, 5-7 p.m. Pantry serves families enrolled in WIC and/or SNAP with infants age newborn through 2 ½ years residing in the Plains District of Rockingham County. The pantry provides age-appropriate formula, baby food, diapers and wipes. WIC and/or SNAP credentials, photo identification, proof of residency within the Plains District and baby must be presented.
