Albemarle Supervisor Censured, Urged To Resign

CHARLOTTESVILLE (AP) — The Albemarle County Board of Supervisors this morning censured a member who pleaded guilty to sexual battery.
The Daily Progress reports that the board also approved a motion today asking Supervisor Christopher Dumler to resign.
Dumler abstained from both votes.
The 27-year-old Dumler pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor charge in January. He received a 30-day jail sentence and was ordered to make a public apology to the victim.
