Allegiant Air To End Charlottesville Flights
CHARLOTTESVILLE — Allegiant Air announced Friday it will end its scheduled service from Charlottesville Albemarle Airport. The carrier’s last day of service will be Feb. 23.
Customers with reservations beyond that date will be contacted directly by Allegiant for full refund, according a press release from the company.
“We are always disappointed to end service in a market,” Eric Fletcher, Allegiant Travel Co. manager of airports, said in the release.
Allegiant began service from the Charlottesville Albemarle Airport on Nov. 21.
