Bridgewater Hires Women’s Lax Coach

Posted: July 6, 2013

BRIDGEWATER – Bridgewater College has hired former Wilkes University assistant and interim head coach Danielle Hawkins to take over the Eagles’ women’s lacrosse program.

Hawkins led the Colonels to a 10-4 record during the 2013 season and the program’s first playoff appearance with a trip to the Middle Atlantic Conference tournament. She replaces Kim Lowry, who went 6-10 in each of the past three seasons at BC. Lowry guided the Eagles to four conference wins in consecutive years, the most since 1999.

Hawkins is a 2011 graduate and four-year starter at Division I Monmouth University.
