HARRISONBURG — Tickets are on sale now for the third annual Rocktown Beer and Music Festival.
The event, held in the Turner Pavilion area on South Liberty Street in downtown, will take place from 2:30 to 8 p.m. on April 20. It will feature selections from 32 microbreweries, food vendors and live music.
The festival is presented by Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance and sponsored by Blue Mountain Brewery, Jack Brown’s Beer and Burger Joint and Vision Studios.
Advance tickets went on sale today for $32. Any unsold tickets will be available at the door for $40. Included in the ticket price are 10, 4-ounce pours and a 6-ounce souvenir mug. Pint cards good for four additional samples cost $5.
Non-drinking tickets are $22, and children younger than 10 get in free.
Volunteers are needed for beer pouring, ticket sales and setup and cleanup. Volunteers get in for no charge and receive five free tasting tickets, a volunteer T-shirt, and souvenir mug. To sign up, email Kelly@rocktownfestival.com.
