STUARTS DRAFT – Center fielder Bay Liskey and catcher Tyler Hoffman each went 1-for-3 with two RBIs, helping the Bridgewater Reds to a 7-6 win over the Stuarts Draft Diamondbacks in a Rockingham County Baseball League game Friday in Stuarts Draft.

It was the season opener for both teams.

Right fielder Corbin Lucas and third baseman Jay Thompson each went 2-for-5 with two RBIs for the D-Backs.

Towson 20, W&M 13: First baseman Brendan Butler went 3-for-5 with a home run, six RBIs and three runs scored, propelling No. 4-seed Towson to a 20-13 win over No. 2 William & Mary in a Colonial Athletic Association tournament winners’ bracket game Friday at Veterans Memorial Park.

The Tigers (28-28) advanced to the championship round at 4 p.m. today, when they will play the winner of the 1 p.m. elimination game between the Tribe (36-21) and either Northeastern or North Carolina-Wilmington.

Second baseman Ryan Lindemuth went 4-for-6 with a home run, six RBIs and three runs, and first baseman Michael Katz went 3-for-4 with a homer and four runs for W&M, which beat James Madison 20-19 earlier in the day.
