A large maple tree landed Friday night on Oscar Brizuela's 2008 Honda Civic outside his home on Hawkins Street in Harrisonburg. Although his house sustained little damage, his car was less fortunate. "The car is gone. [The tree] just smashed it down,” he says. (Photo by Michael Reilly / DN-R)
