Juan Vazquez hauls parts for a carousel ride being set up at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds Sunday evening.
Connie Liskey of Cross Keys holds her granddaughter, Peyson, as the 4-month-old grabs hold of grandpa Don Liskey’s finger. The Liskeys were at the fairgrounds’ barn getting their cattle entries settled in for the night Sunday. Peyson is the daughter of David and Greta Liskey.

HARRISONBURG — Months of planning and hard work are set to begin paying off today with the official opening of this year’s Rockingham County Fair.
