DEVELOPING: Cops Search For City Pharmacy Robbers

HARRISONBURG — City police are searching for two white men following a reported armed robbery at the Medicap Pharmacy on Va. 42 on Saturday.

Around 1 p.m., the men entered the business and took various medications, according to a news release from the Harrisonburg Police Department. The pharmacy is at 1851 Virginia Ave.

One of the men displayed a firearm during the robbery, the release states. Neither of the two employees working at the time was injured.

Both suspects are described as white males in their early 20s. One man was seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and the other was wearing a hooded jacket, according to the release.

Police are searching for a dark-colored Mercury Mariner with a license plate of XNH-3462. Cruisers could be seen scouring the city’s Park View area shortly after the emergency call came in.
