Abduction victim Elizabeth Smart, the

Smart was 14 years old when she was taken from her bedroom, imprisoned and sexually abused by two captors who threatened to kill her and her family if she tried to flee.
She was reunited with her family after someone spotted her in March of 2003.
She worked with other young adults and the U.S. Department of Justice to create a guide for survivors of abduction and is a contributor to ABC News, reporting on missing persons and child abduction.
