HARRISONBURG — A fire at Royal Cab in Harrisonburg forced emergency officials to shut down South High Street from Maryland Avenue south to just past the cab company. The taxi service’s headquarters is at 954 S. High St.
The road was closed for about 30 minutes starting at about 12:15 p.m. Firefighters quickly contained the blaze, the cause of which is not yet known.
