HHS’s Zingg, Brooks All-Conference

HARRISONBURG – Senior point guard Andrew Zingg and sophomore guard Kendyl Brooks of Harrisonburg High School have been named first-team All-Conference 23 for the boys and girls, respectively.

HHS junior forward Chris Whitelow and senior guard Matt Shifflett as second-team selections for the boys.

Handley’s Cameron Jackson was named the conference Player of the Year. Handley’s Jason Toton was Coach of the Year. JHHS eliminated Harrisonburg (7-17) in the conference semifinals.

On the girls’ side, Charlottesville’s Kendall Ballard and Fluvanna County’s Kiana Childress were Co-Players of the Year. Fluvanna County’s Chad White and Charlottesville’s Jim Daly were Co-Coaches of the Year.

The HHS girls finished 3-20, losing to Fluvanna in the first round of the C23 tournament.
