HARRISONBURG — Jetzon Matute had a goal and an assist to lead Harrisonburg High School to a 5-0 win over Broadway in a boys’ soccer game Wednesday at Eastern Mennonite University.

The Blue Streaks improved to 5-4-1; the Gobblers’ record was unavailable.

The game was played at EMU because BHS’s field was too wet.

Broadway Girls 1, Harrisonburg 0: Senior midfielder Jess Bergan scored on a long rebound and junior goalkeeper Monnivon Morrow recorded four saves to lead Broadway High School to a 1-0 victory over Harrisonburg in a girls’ soccer game Wednesday at Eastern Mennonite University.

The Gobblers improved to 5-3-2 overall and 5-0-2 in the Valley; the Blue Streaks’ record was unavailable.

The game was played at EMU because HHS’s field was too wet.
