– Junior midfielder Austin Slater scored off an assist from sophomore midfielder Angel Bravo with about a minute left in the first overtime to lead Turner Ashby High School to a 2-1 win over Spotswood in a Valley District boys’ soccer game Tuesday.

The Knights improved to 8-2-2 overall, 5-2-1 in the district; the Trailblazers’ record was unavailable.

SHS junior forward Drew Patton tied the game at 1-1 with a goal in the 35th minute.

Bravo had two assists.
