HARRISONBURG — James Madison University will conduct a test of their emergency response communication systems on Thursday starting at 3 p.m.
At that time, students, faculty and staff who have enrolled in the ECS will receive a text or voice message. A blast email also will be sent to the JMU community. The Madison Alert, the university’s outdoor siren and public address system, also will be activated with a siren and audible message broadcast across the system.
For more information about the emergency response communication system, visit the JMU Public Safety website at www.jmu.edu/pubsafety and click on the “Emergency Notification” link.
