HARRISONBURG — Del. Steve Landes, R-Weyers Cave, and Virginia Beach City Councilman John Moss both have announced they are endorsing Sen. Mark Obenshain, R-Harrisonburg, for attorney general.
Obenshain and Del. Rob Bell, R-Albemarle, are seeking the Republican nomination for attorney general in November’s election.
“Mark Obenshain is the conservative leader we need as our next Attorney General,” said Landes, whose House district overlaps a portion of Obenshain’s senatorial district. “He has the principled conservative values, leadership experience and legal background to continue the great work Ken Cuccinelli has done as Virginia’s last line of defense against an overreaching federal government.”
Moss said Obenshain’s record in the Senate is “one of principle, integrity and unwavering support of personal liberty.”
