HPD Seeks Suspect In Larceny Case

HARRISONBURG — The Harrisonburg Police Department has identified a man believed to have been involved in the larceny of and fraudulent use of a credit card and is seeking the public’s help to identify him.

A woman reported on July 27 that her credit card had been stolen and used to purchase multiple items in and around the Harrisonburg Crossing shopping center, according to a press release issued Saturday. The release included images of a possible suspect taken from video surveillance cameras during the times the card allegedly was used.

The department is asking for anyone with information about the identity of the man in the photograph or who might know something the case to contract its Criminal Investigations Division 437-2640. Callers can provide anonymous tips by calling Crime Solvers at 574-5050.
