Man Killed In Crash On U.S. 11

HARRISONBURG — A single-vehicle wreck on U.S. 11 north of Harrisonburg killed a man this morning.
Rockingham County Sheriff Bryan Hutcheson said the driver ran off the road and struck a tree near the 251 exit for Interstate 81.
Emergency crews were called to the scene shortly after 11 a.m. AirCare 5, a medical helicopter, landed in a nearby field.
However, the man died before he could be taken to the hospital.
