Area residents and family members of Cesar Lara Rios gather at Immigrations and Customs Enforcement headquarters in Harrisonburg on Wednesday to protest his scheduled deportation, after he was reportedly detained while picking up firewood. The protesters said the deportation threat was unfair, since city resident Rios had no criminal record and had been living in Harrisonburg for five years. Later in the day, he was released.
