Attorney General Mark Herring visited Skyline Middle School Tuesday morning to respond to letters several students wrote to him.
His stop came in the midst of a two-week public safety tour of Virginia in which Herring is meeting sheriffs, police chiefs and commonwealth’s attorneys. His short visit to Skyline addressed some of the issues he’s hearing, or will hear, from officials: dating violence, synthetic drugs and school safety.
“These are of concern to adults and young people alike,” Herring said.
He does not have a visit scheduled with officials in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County.
