HARRISONBURG — Motorists should expect delays on Ramblewood Road starting Thursday as the city’s Department of Public Utilities starts work on a sewer main extension along the street’s 2500 block.
Crews will begin installing approximately 280 feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer main Thursday. This project will extend sewer service to an area that currently does not have it.
Ramblewood Road will not be closed during the construction, but traffic delays can be expected throughout the project, the release said.
The Department of Public Utilities expects the project to be complete within one month, though that schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions and unforeseen maintenance.
