NEW: Fatal Fire Ruled Accidental
A fire that killed two people in March in Toms Brook appears to have been caused accidentally, according to Shenandoah County Fire Marshal David Ferguson.
Officials believe the fire killed William Dartnell, 81, and Kikuko Dischleit, 86. The blaze, located at 55 Jessica Place on March 20, is still in the investigation phase.
The Shenandoah County Department of Fire and Rescue is waiting for autopsy reports from the medical examiner’s office. Preliminary findings at this point lead to an accidental fire.
