A Harrisonburg-based federal prosecutor is among 11 candidates to fill a soon-to-be vacant judgeship in Roanoke.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeb Terrien - the lead prosecutor in the triple murder case against Lorie Ann Taylor-Keller and Nakia Keller - is among those being considered to become a federal judge.
Terrien, and the other candidates, are scheduled to appear before a Virginia State Bar evaluation committee on March 26.
The Harrisonburg attorney is the only candidate from the Shenandoah Valley.
