NEW: Shenandoah Valley Music Festival Announces Acts

A cappella band, Straight No Chaser, plans to open the 51st anniversary season of the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival on Friday, July 18 in Orkney Springs, according to organizers.

This summer's lineup will also include Rhonda Vincent, referred to as "the queen of bluegrass music" by The Wall Street Journal, and her band, the Rage. The group will headline the annual Hot Strings and Cool Breezes bluegrass mini-festival on Aug. 2.

Online sales for both concerts start at noon on April 3. Box office sales will start in May.

Additional artists will be announced as they are signed, according to organizers.
