Prosecutors Say He Planned To Blow Up High School
WOODSTOCK - An Edinburg teen accused of plotting a terrorist attack against Stonewall Jackson High School pleaded guilty to two of three charges today in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.
Trump, 18, pleaded guilty to felony making a threat to bomb, burn, destroy or damage Stonewall Jackson and felony constructing a hoax explosive device to intentionally cause another person to believe it was a bomb. A felony charge of attempting to commit an act of terrorism is still pending.
He faces up to 15 years in prison on the two charges. Judge Dennis Hupp scheduled Trump’s sentencing for May 28. At that time, attorneys will decide how to proceed on the third charge.
