W&L Blanks EMU Men, 4-0

 

LEXINGTON — Junior midfielder Al Organ scored one of three first-half goals and had an assist to lead Washington & Lee to a 4-0 win over Eastern Mennonite in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference men’s soccer game Tuesday.

 

The Generals improved to 5-0-4 overall, 3-0-1 in the ODAC; the Royals dropped to 2-8, 0-4.
 

 

BC Women 7, Randolph-Macon 0: Sophomore defender Julia Baca scored two goals, sophomore midfielder Michelle Viegas added a goal and two assists and Bridgewater College routed Randolph-Macon 7-0 in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference women’s soccer game Tuesday in Bridgewater.

 

The Eagles improved to 7-3 overall, 4-0 in the ODAC; the Yellow Jackets fell to 4-6, 2-3.
 

 

Shenandoah Women 2, EMU 1: Freshmen Leanne Mayo and Alysha McCleaf each scored a goal as Shenandoah University held on to defeat Eastern Mennonite 2-1 in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference women’s soccer game Tuesday in Harrisonburg.

 

The Hornets improved to 6-4-1 overall, 4-0-1 in the ODAC; the Royals fell to 7-3, 2-2. With EMU trailing 2-0, junior forward Nora Osei scored her 10th goal of the season in the 86th minute for the Royals.
