HPD Seeks ‘Skinny Male’ Suspect

HARRISONBURG — Harrisonburg police are looking into an armed robbery that took place in the city on Saturday night.

Shortly before 10 p.m., officers with the Harrisonburg Police Department received the call about the incident that took place at the AutoZone vehicle parts store at 340 N. Mason St.

The suspect is described by police as “a skinny male,” approximately 5-foot-9. He was wearing light-colored jeans with a camouflage hooded sweatshirt pulled tight over his head.

He also had a “black ski mask with a camouflage mask over top” and was wearing sunglasses. Police did not disclose what weapon was used in the robbery or what items were stolen.
