The Commissioner of Agriculture Matt Lohr reads a proclamation by Gov. Bob McDonnell naming June Turkey month while visiting the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank Wednesday morning. VERONA — Three major players in the central Valley’s poultry industry donated a total of 8,650 pounds of turkey products to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank Wednesday.
