The Commissioner of Agriculture Matt Lohr reads a proclamation by Gov. Bob McDonnell naming June Turkey month while visiting the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank Wednesday morning. The food bank accepted turkeys donated from Cargill, Perdue and the Virginia Poultry Growers Association for the Governor’s Bowl Chamber of Commerce Challenge.
