Rainy But Festive
Despite sporadic downpours, the 21st annual Harrisonburg-Rockingham African-American Festival at Ralph Sampson Park went on as planned Saturday, featuring music, vendors and a plethora of food. The rain didn’t stop a sizeable crowd from coming out for this year’s festival, which organizers say is meant to celebrate the community’s rich heritage and diversity.
