Relief Sale Shopping
Ruby Weaver, of Apex, N.C., browses jewelry at the Ten Thousand Villages booth set up at the Mennonite Relief Sale on Friday. The sale, now in its 46th year, raises money for the Mennonite Central Committee, which aids in natural disaster relief, community development and peace work around the world. Last year, at least $301,000 was raised through sales and auctions. The event continues at the fairgrounds until 3 p.m. today. For a full schedule visit www.vareliefsale.com.
