Bob Reitz, a sales executive with Pediment Publishing, examines a picture of a Space Conditioning Inc. company picnic taken at Endless Caverns in 1966 with former employees Pat Caldwell, 67, of Harrisonburg and Venda King, 68, of Elkton. The two women brought photos to a scanning session at Massanutten Regional Library for “Harrisonburg and Rockingham Through The Daily News-Record’s Lens,” a book that Pediment will publish. The book will include historic front pages of the paper, readers’ photos and local organizations from the early 1900s through today. Scanning sessions will be held today and Saturday at The Heritage Museum, 382 High St. in Dayton. (Photo by Michael Reilly / DN-R)
