So The Clintons Were ‘Dead Broke,’ Eh?
I could never understand why the Clintons took so much government owned furniture and other things with them when they moved out of the White House. Now I get it. They had two multimillion-dollar homes to furnish and they were “dead broke” when they left the White House, Hillary Clinton recently said. I feel for them.
That was just how my wife and I were in 1950. We were married three days when I was recalled into service. We had no money and we were sent to Norfolk. We rented a two-room substandard apartment. We bought one set of silverware. One of us used the fork and one the spoon and we shared the knife. We used the ice trays to cook in. So, I can share their pain about being broke.
Get real Clintons. You are not like us little people.
