HARRISONBURG — Harrisonburg will collect debris left over from Friday’s violent storm this week.

City residents can put out storm debris, such as broken branches, to be picked up Thursday and Friday.

Limbs must be no longer than 4 feet and no thicker than 6 inches in diameter.

Also, Harrisonburg and Rockingham County residents may dump storm-related debris at the county landfill free of charge through Saturday.

The landfill is located at 2400 Grassy Creek Road southeast of Harrisonburg. It’s open from 7 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
