Tight End De-Commits From JMU

Posted: January 18, 2014

HARRISONBURG — Battlefield High School tight end/H-back Cameron Skaff said on Twitter late Thursday night that he has de-committed from Madison.

“Officially decommited from JMU. Final schools down to Dartmouth, Georgetown, Towson, William and Mary, and Richmond,” Skaff said in a tweet at 10:17 p.m.

Signing day is less than three weeks away, and the Dukes have just five known recruits committed: Bruton linebacker/athlete Kapri Doucet, Hillsborough (N.J.) quarterback Rob Nittolo, Mills Godwin linebacker A.B. Rhodes and Benedictine defensive lineman Cornell Urquhart.

JMU was without a head coach for about a month between Mickey Matthews’ firing Nov. 25 and Everett Withers’ hiring Dec. 20.
