Downtown Trash Pickup Postponed

HARRISONBURG — Trash, recycling and bulk collection scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed by Harrisonburg’s Public Works Department as refuse collection crews are reassigned to assist with snow removal.
The Central Business District in downtown is the only area that receives any refuse collection on Wednesdays, according to a press release from the city.
The district’s trash will be collected along with those on the regular Thursday route, according to the city.
Recycling collection will be postponed until March 14, the city said.
