U.S. Needs A Strong National Gov’t

Posted: February 19, 2013

The United States is a great country. We should not permit self-centered people of narrow vision to build up fears of imaginary disasters to prevent movement toward a “more perfect union.”

Some Republican politicians want to see a smaller, weaker federal government that is unable to protect the public with safety regulations that might reduce their own or their clients’ profits.

We can rebuild our decaying infrastructure, put people back to work, promote scientific development and educate our young people, but not by recklessly reducing government spending.

A great country is not possible without a strong national government.
