On Jan. 25, about 500,000 people braved the 20-degree weather and blowing snow to stand for life and remember the 55 million Americans aborted since 1973, and the damage done to their mothers, fathers and our country.
The rally at the National Mall lasted 1½ hours and included prayers, songs, powerful testimony and encouragement. Afterward, we moved to Constitution Avenue and walked to the U.S. Supreme Court Building.
The crowd was mostly young students and families with kids. They take it personally that one-third of their generation is missing.
It was a peaceful march with a cheerful mood but a serious message, as seen on this sign:
