Richard Weaver (seated) is retiring as the Dale Enterprise weather observer, handing over the reins to his neighbors, Scott and Jini Cook.
Scott and Jini Cook, neighbors of retiring weather observer Richard Weaver, will be taking over his duties at the Dale Enterprise Weather Station. “We’re constantly watching the weather because of sports,” says Scott Cook, an athletic trainer at JMU.
