Winter sport enthusiasts board the chairlift at Massanutten Resort on Monday. “The cold temperatures allowed us to make snow around-the-clock,” says Kenny Hess, director of sports and risk management at Massanutten. Officials at the ski resort hope to remain open through the third Sunday in March.
