Deavers-Parks

Kara Chéree Deavers of Broadway and Christopher Ryan Parks of Harrisonburg have announced their engagement.
Deavers, the daughter of Melanie Sue Deavers, graduated from Broadway High School in 2004. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood education from Eastern Mennonite University in 2009. She is a 1st-grade teacher for Rockingham County Public Schools.
Parks, son of Charles Richard Parks Jr. and Esther Marlene Parks, graduated from Harrisonburg High School in 1998. He is employed by RR Donnelley.
The wedding will take place on June 22, 2013.
