Mr. & Mrs. Robert Joseph Define, III
The bride is the daughter of Dale and Joan Gardner of Bridgewater.
The groom is the son of Robert and Bonnie Define of St. Louis, Mo.
The bride wore a “Melissa Brooch” designed by Maggie Sottero. The one-piece strapless A-line gown was adorned with a sweetheart neckline and Swarovski crystals accenting the side hip and corset back.
Matron of honor was Joan Gardner, mother of the bride.
Maid of honor was Paige Gardner, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Kelly Baker of Palm Beach, Fla.; Kinsley Define of Tampa, Fla., sister of the groom, Katie Define, of Nixa, Mo.; sister in-law of the groom, Kate Bowman of Harrisonburg, and Whitney Gardner of Bridgewater, sister-in-law of the bride.
Best man was Christopher Define of Nixa, Mo., brother of the groom.
Ushers were Brett Nelson of O’Fallon, Mo., Andrew Stenholm of Lynchburg, and Dustin Cortee of Port Charlotte, Fla.
Children of honor were Dale Jackson Gardner, Luke Gardner, Raigan Gardner and Emily Goodman.
Special guest was The Hokie Bird from Virginia Tech.
Soloist was Amanda Grover.
Harpist was Rebecca Edmonson.
The a capella group was “Voices” from Randolph College.
The bride graduated from Turner Ashby High School in 2001 and Virginia Tech, where she received a bachelor’s degree in communications. She is an executive assistant at The Rockingham Group in Harrisonburg.
The groom graduated from Charlotte High School in Punta Gorda, Fla., in 1999 and Liberty University in Lynchburg, where he received a bachelor’s degree in finance. He is currently completing a master’s degree in counseling at Liberty University.
Following a honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple reside in Harrisonburg.
