Woolfolk-Skelly

Ms. Valerie Mayes and Mr. Brad Simmons of Broadway, Virginia, along with Mr. and Mrs. John Skelly Jr., of Timberville, Virginia, are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, John Moore Skelly, III, of Harrisonburg, Virginia, to Ashley Brooke Woolfolk, also of Harrisonburg.

Ashley is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay Woolfolk Jr., of Orange, Virginia. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Roberta Hildebrand and the late Mr. Louis Hildebrand of Charlottesville, Virginia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay Woolfolk Sr., of Orange, Virginia.

John is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Mayes Sr., of Grottoes, Virginia, and Dr. and Mrs. John Skelly Sr., of Mineral, Virginia. He is the step-grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gaines of McGaheysville, Virginia, and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Kershner of Gordonsville, Virginia.

John attended Longwood University and is an honor graduate of Piedmont Virginia Community College. Currently, he is enrolled at Eastern Mennonite University and employed at Hertz.

Ashley is a graduate of The College of William and Mary and Wake Forest University School of Medicine. She is employed as a Physician Assistant at James Madison University.

A May 2013 wedding is planned at Keswick Vineyards in Keswick, Virginia.
