The bride is the daughter of Jim and June Flory of Timberville. The groom is the son of Brad and Lori Melson of Arroyo Grande, Calif.
The bride graduated from Berea Christian School in Harrisonburg in 1995 and Eastern Mennonite University in 1999 with a bachelors degree in accounting. She earned a bachelors degree in psychology from James Madison University in 2006, and a master’s degree in international management from the University of Phoenix in 2012.
She is employed as a general services officer by the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C.
The groom graduated from Arroyo Grande High School in 1998 before attending Ashford University. He is currently pursing a bachelors degree in organizational management.
He is employed with UPS in Newington, Va.
After a honeymoon to Philadelphia, Pa., Mr. & Mrs. Flory will reside in Lorton.
In memory of her only brother, Justin Daniel Flory (1982-2007), the groom has taken the bride’s last name as his own.
