March’s weather lived up to its erratic reputation this week. Between Tuesday and Wednesday, more than a foot of snow fell in Harrisonburg and more than two feet in parts of Rockingham County. Even with school cancelled Thursday morning, people throughout the Valley began digging out.

Forecasts indicate the wild weather will continue, as temperatures are expected to climb into the low 60s early next week.
