Animal Crulety Sentences Too Lenient

I am so angry with the misdemeanor animal cruelty charge for Russell Metcalf. Not only that man, but every person who gets caught harming animals gets this line from the judges: “You are prohibited from possessing a domesticated animal for six months.”
What nonsense. Sentence them to a week or two working at the animal shelter or picking up dead ones on the road, or take a lesson to learn that animals hurt, bleed and die just like us?
Teach them something, please.
